Engraving happens when the laser heat is rapidly absorbed on the glass surface and the glass fractures from thermal shock resulting in the frosted image.  There are several items that can be engraved including photographs.  Prices vary according to the complexity of the design and the type of to be engraved.  When selecting your motif and text, do not put too much detail as the surface to be engraved is limited. You can also have special messaged or promotional information on the back.

Patterned or engraved glass is very versatile. You can cut, grind, temper, drill and laminate it depending upon your preferences.  Laser glass engraving is the latest technology and is much faster and safer than older methods.
