Glass Engraving; Glass is the new act of Class

When it comes to awarding people for their achievements, there are many types of awards to choose from. Many times it could be a plaque or a trophy but with the passing of time there is something new to show just how much one had been appreciated for what they have done.

New trends

As years go by there is a new trend when it comes to awarding individuals. People get rid of the old as they welcome the new. Glass is the new class and is the only way to mark an event with an award that will be there for ages but still remain ageless. The best way of doing this is getting the glass engraved.

Glass engraving has led to the rise of engraved glass awards becoming the choice of many event organizers. Not only are these awards beautiful but they are also flexible. Most plaques in the past used to look identical but with glass everything is different depending on the engraving and the etching.

Flexibility

Awards made from engraved glass come in different shapes and sizes. This means that they can be made to resemble anything to suit the occasion. For instance if it is a sports award the glass can be shaped into a ball or a pair of football boots. In professional awards there could be an artistic glass sculpture or simply have the company logo put inside the glass to give the award some sort of unique feel.

Colour

In addition to engraving, Glass with use of adhesion promotors can also be directly printed with UV cured inks with colour and white ink. Combined with engraving this can achieve a unique award or memory for any event. The result is a tough lightfast image on the glass.

Cost

The other advantage of going for anything made through the process of glass engraving is that it will not be expensive. Yes it is true that cheap is expensive but in this case it is because of the improvement in technology that facilitates simplicity and less costly production of such products. What can be good than being able to impress and still not overspend?
